    Acadamy and Roden

I know that some forum members have mentioned Acadamy before, but i can't remember (in my short time here) any mention of Roden.

I'm interested in a couple of kits from both, the Roden ones are a bit more out of the ordinary.

    Any experience/opinions on either?

    Thanks

    Dave

At the Peterborough model show I was talking to someone from the IPMS who had a Roden British WWI fighter, cannot remember which, and he advised that if I wanted to have a go at a Bi Plane, this was the one to go with as it had no wing rigging. Have to say I didn't listen to him as I went into the next room and bought the Eduard kit even though Roden were on sale. Don't ask me why.... However, it looked stunning.

Have a look here to see some IPMS reviews of aircraft kits, click the "All Aircraft Kits" button and scroll down and you will find some Roden, they are in alpha order.

      thanks Graham.

I saw a picture of the Gotha bomber in a catalogue, and it made me look at the rest of the range. Some interesting subjects!!

Might order a couple....but not the Gotha. Looks like a specialist build!!
