    Narrow Escape

I went into my local model shop and asked for decal solution. He gave me Humbrol Clearfix. Sounds like it should do the job. I noticed that there is no English instructions on the bottle. As my 'foreign' is a bit rusty, I thought I'd check the forum for some info on how to use it. Turns out it's glue.

Will it actually work as decal solution? Or should I just order some Micro-sol.

Get some Microsol or such. God knows what glue would do to the decals but I am sure Microsol would do it better lol.

Humbrol clearfix is a glue for clear palstic that prevents frosting and white marks on you canopy.

What you need for your decals is Decalfix (duh!)

So you can still use it to great advantage, just not on your decals!

I better go and tell sour puss in the model shop before he ruins some hapless modelers next project. Honestly, you'd think he had the worst job in the world to look at him, and it's always busy in there, no dust on the boxes or nufink.

Done it again with spelling my own name. "to order a dialling wand, mash the keypad with your fist now"
