I'm going on holiday for a week to Keswick in the Lake District and was wondering if there are any model shops near there. I don't mind a little bit of a travel but nothing like Workington or alikes.

I've been there a few times and not seen a model shop, but they have a market on a Thursday and Saturdays, if you like spicy food there's a stall called mr vikkis they sell a pickle called King Naga, try it it's really hot, make sure you have a drink handy, I always get a few jars when ever I'm up there. -
Yeah i know the market John. I have been to Braithwaite loads of times and use the bakers at the bottom of the shopping area alot for getting food whilst walking

Sorry allyne , the only one i know (o'loughlins models and toys in kendal) has just gone to being an internet only shop DOH!!! still i can recommend them if you want to buy over the net ,theyve got a great selection of stuff. Sorry i wasnt of much use, but enjoy your break anyway cheers tonyComment
