    E-models....Nice one

I ordered a couple of kits for a forthcoming project (intended to be my first ever diorama, for which I blame you lot!) from E-models. Within a couple of hours I received a phone call, from a very apologetic chap, to say that they couldn't find one of them despite their stock showing one. He gave me the option to put it on back order (but was honest enough to say it might be weeks) or to knock it of the order, enabling me to source it elsewhere.

Thanks to this excellent and honest customer service I have been able to find the one item elsewhere without waiting days or weeks to discover I can't get it.

E models get 10/10 from me and can be sure I will source stuff from them again.

Great as you say. Have you a link to their website? What's this diorama then? Intrigued now....

They are here....well actually in Stoke.

As for the diorama it will be in the,for me, unusual 1/72 scale as I don't live in a mansion or castle and will feature a scene in the North African desert. I don't have to worry about too much vegetation!! I'm setting my sights fairly low as you can see. It will still be about the aircraft but a rather unusual juxtaposition of types, loosely based on a photo I found.

      Cheers

Hi Colin,I'm going to aim a little bit higher than that LOL! Not much though.

There appears to be various rocks and some scrub, about which I shall be seeking advice,in the photo. I did find one picture of a Fiesler Storch, painted white,on a frozen lake, with absolutely nothing else in sight. You can't even see a horizon! It looked even easier than a desert so I was tempted.

          Cheers

            Hi Steve

I've used Emodels to have stuff sent to Moscow and they were great. Their neighbours Modelhobbies are USELESS!!! They didn't answer my emails and my parcel was destroyed in Russian customs. Bad service to the core! Emodels, any day!
