    Has anyone heard from....

Has anyone been in contact with Paul, in Moscow? Not heard from him for ages. Also Dave DD2356, last heard from trying to stick PE to his FW190. Are you guys OK?????

Hellooooooooooooooooooooo I'm here and alive... just

I just got a message from our Ian about my whereabouts and it's nice knowing people care. It's been hectic recently with my new flat, working 27 hours a day and forced to drink acid (Monty Python i think), avoiding bombs in the metro and fighting with Modelhobbies to get my stuff found which i believe was stolen by some Russian custom official. I was telling Ian that the problem i have now is that i have no space to put my semi-masterpieces until me and the family are able to move into our new flat.

On a good note, i managed to get Klear sent out to me, one bottle of the old one and two of Pledge's Klear new potion type which resembles milk. God knows what i'm going to do with that???!!!

I hope everyone's been fine here and i'm ready to get back into it but i'll have to side-line myself and marvel at other's masterpieces until i'm allowed to commence once again My order from Modelhobbies contained loads of needed stuff which is hard to find here or the shops rarely stock it

      Many platonic hugs and kisses

      Paul

Good to hear from you. FWIW weight of opinion seems to be that the new stuff does work on models though I haven't tried it. Hope you get sorted soon.

              Cheers

One thing I have read on Promodeller is that the new Klear (it is milky and very nice smelling) can stay a bit milky on clear parts if applied too thick. Not enough to notice over paint (I have tested a single brushed on oat myself) but watch it on thin clear canopies. I will test it on a spare and post a report.

Cheers again lads. Do you think the new Klear would need to be diluted to pass through an airbrush? It seems awfully thick. Thanks to making my old man's life a living hell, i did manage to get a bottle of the old Klear to last me for a while

As for the new flat, it's going well and only last weekend i handed in the blue-prints of my designer modellers workdesk to be made. I designed it with an airbrush cabin, locked glass storage to protect models from collecting dust and hairs from animals we don't have and loads of other stuff i won't ever need. Will post pics of it when it'sd done - in 2 months ((((((

                          Hi Paul:

I have the new Pledge with FUTURE shine and it's much thinner than the original Future. I've used either Windex with ammonia or IPA-Isopropyl Alcohol to spray but found this unnecessary to do anymore. Hope this helps, Jeff
