OOPs, done it again, Dad !!!

Not model related but just a bit of life.....

As some of you will remember I lost my 4 legged best mate Digby at Easter.

I went to our local RSPCA kennels recently, and found a great replacement.

The rules require a home visit to assess the security ect. of the property where the dog is to live.

A lady from the RSPCA came to see me, complete with her husband to have a look around. I'm not being rude, but she was huge, I mean megga fat!

    The conversation went thus...

"This is a very nice place for the dog, the security and accommodation are fine." sez she.

    "Thank you." sez I

"It will be safe to assume the dog is yours, I will just have to contact my superior."

My reply? "If you don't mind, as they say, it 'aint over 'till the fat lady sings!!!"

Sez he, "That's a good'un mate, give us a song Lil!"

Despite my mouth opening before brain engaging we now have the dog.

    Cheers,

    Ron

Thanks guys for lending an ear, so to speak. I guess we're all guilty of mouths before brains sometimes!

Scott, good luck with the moggie. I wonder if you got it from the RSPCA nr. Liverpool Airport? That's where we got our dog.

Such sad places to visit, every animal is looking at you, pleading as best they can...

I will post a couple of pictures if the stupid 18mth. old thing will stop cuddling up all the time, bless!

                Cheers,

                Ron
