    Apologies to all

    NOW HEAR THIS!!!!lol

I have only been away for a few days and I have missed so much, so....

With summer being here, and also me and the present Mrs. Ron are in the very lucky position of being able to clear off into the hills, more or less when we like in our very modest 'M' reg camper van, I am finding it increasingly difficult to keep up with all the threads and posts.

If I don't contribute as much as I should please don't think I am being rude or dismissive, it's just that most of our time, with the exception of winter (even that doesn't stop us altogether!) is taken up wandering around.

Please understand, I'm not na, na, nananaing, as hopefully one day, you all find yourselves with the same good fortune / luck as us.

    Thanks to all my buddies,

    Ron

Don't blame you Ron, I would be in the hills all the time if we had any in this flatland desert that is the Fens lol.

That sounds a pretty good life to me Ron, nobody can spend 24/7 doing the same thing endlessly. Just don't get lost - OK? We'd miss you!

And why not, i'd be gone if i had the chance Ron. There's more one way to have fun, modelling is just one of them. Just one thing though, you and Mrs. Ron enjoy yourself's.

          Have fun, John

Ron my good fellow...i am very lucky to live on Dartmoor and when them hills call, you just have to go...so i know where youre coming from. Sometimes its just so refreshing to get out there and re charge them batteries and a few days away from the model shed can be worthwhile.

Glad to see you back and in the high spirit we all love...good on ya mate, regards Martin :-)

I would like to get a small motor home so we could do just what you are doing and maybe one day we will, but don't forget you could always buy a wireless dongle and have internet on the move

Steady on John! Ron has enough to handle with his bouncy nurse as it is. The Gods alone know what state poor Ron would be in if she had a wireless dongle to use as well!

I have personally seen the ronmobile, and can say its far from modest, its a little beauty! BUT ....... im sure you could fit in a little modelling table ron, ..Oh, wait, that would leave no room for the supply of beers (purely medicinal, of course) ,cant have that! Seriously though, as derek says its a hobby, Id be out and about if i had one too, especially in the summer, so make hay while the sun shines ( mmm, 1/35 scale hay ?!!! NO stop it now!) cheers matey, tony

Thanks for all your encouragement, suggestions and advise boys, but a wireless dongle, what on earth's that? Sounds like someone's appendage that's about to fall off!

Sorry, when me and the bride go away it's no tele, ain't got a licence anymore anyway, great, we highly recommend it. No phone, no 'tinternet and no news.

Just a few cans, a bottle or two of vino, The Stones and ZZ Top c.d's for me and Paulo Notini for the bride and some rays from above!!

                      :nurse:OOPS! Look out, bed time.....
