    Good model Mil 24

    Hi Graham,

You're looking for a good Mil 24? I don't think they're ever going to come any better than this one:

Precise Modeling - Museum quality scale models

I can't see how any model could be better than this one. Maybe as good - but not better.

Maybe this could tempt you to try the Trumpeter version in the same scale? lol

    Gern

PS Serves you right for trying to tempt me into the smaller stuff!

PPS Remembered this one as well:

Mil Mi-24V Hind-E (Trumpeter 1/35) by Rod Bettencourt

If that don't tempt you, nothin' will!

Oooo, very nice Dave but 1:35??? It is a huge helicopter so I hate to think what a 1:35 would be like.... Anyone do a 1:48, may even have to be a 1:72 for this one..... Naaaa 1:48 would be nice.

Blimey...what a stunning looking helicopter, probably not everyones,s cup of tea but i love it. A bit like the Apache really, i love the look of them but i know a lot think its ugly. Gotta see ya make one of these Graham :-)

It could gobble up the Apache, the hind is not only a Gun Ship but it carries troops as well

This pic shows the scale of the thing.

        The 'passenger seats'

Also of interest, although I am sure Dave (Gern) will not like it as he asked me to keep his latest model under wraps, is this Kit that I saw Dave buying in his quest to get larger scale kits into his stash even though he does not normally buy pre started kits......

Weeeelllll, you know how it is Graham. I like the large scale stuff - and I can't resist a bargain! Now you know why the artic was parked out front.

As far as the part-built bit is concerned, I saw this as a challenge to help develop my skills.

But I am disappointed you let the cat out of the bag this soon. I was hoping to keep this as a surprise!

PS Does anyone know where I can get LOTS of Light Ghost Grey really, really cheap?

                  Hi Tony,

Thanks for that, but I could really do with next week's numbers if you have them .......
