IPMS Midland Expo

Hi Folks,

Had a great few hours at the Midland expo today! Could have done all day but I had to be back to take the nipper to a birthday party, typical!

Anyway I did take my camera however as I only had a short time I did not spend too much time snapping away, although must say the lighting being those horrid yellow lights in a gym my simple camera did not get on with it, hopefully some will be posted elsewhere to view.

SWMBO was also please that I did not spend much and that I just acquired a few bits and bobs paints etc, although had I been able to afford it I could have gone silly!

Can I just give a plug for West Norfolk IPMS show on 12 June 2011 at Downham Market town hall!

Not being able to come to the show, could I ask one of those going to take some photos?

Undercarriage, flaps and air breaks and other such details on the Sea Hawk, the Hunter and the Sea Vixen. I know its a lot to ask but they are all parked up next to each other...

Then you know more than me Rob! It's just the only show I can find in the Midlands between now and Telford in November.Gern

Shame you could have not made it the other week Gern to the show In Wombourne, I was well impressed.

They held the show within 3 halls taking over the community centre with many clubs attending from all over and who also exhibit at Telford and Midland Expo with some familiar faces.

As usual they also had a selection of trade stands, but the bargains where under the tables.

Here are just a couple of items I snapped, did not take many as my camera is not all that good in taking macro shots, in all honesty I was also engrossed in looking at all the displays and chatting to folk forgetting to take more snaps!

RAF Cosford - a couple of minutes from the M54 nr. Telford in Shropshire - 7th April. Superb day out, loads to see....big museum in huge hangars.... Static aircraft and armour...kits galore, cafe....and it's free, except for £3 parking.....

See you under the Vulcan wing!
