Blow the dust off then brush off the bits that are left. Blue-tak is also good

I keep a 2inch soft bristled house painting brush in my study for that reason just blow what you can off first then gently brush the rest off with the brush.

The soft brushes you get for cleaning camera lenses are great. I lost mine and really should get another one

You could try a camera shop for a soft bristled brush with a rubber bulb on it.

This means you can blow and brush simultaneously.

They should also have a variety of anti-static kit which could be useful. There should be a Jessops camera shop near you.

I've found if you just dampen the tip of a soft, chisel-edged paintbrush this normally removes the dust. Just dampen it though not soak!

              Cheers
