I think John is fed up of me asking him to get me things, I think he would be a lot happier if I bought some of the things he already has lol.Comment

I live 10 minutes away from what passes as the Airfix factory.
They have a factory shop and museum type place which is open Friday/Saturday/Sunday.
They seem to be charging shop prices for their stuff.
If you can't source it elsewhere or if you would prefer, I can stop by and ask for you.

Congrats on finding what you want. I reckon your lass will be well pleased judging by the smile on her face when she just had a simple rifle to play with!

PETER go in the shop and see what they have hiding in the corners!!!
Lightning, Buck, Jaguar tornado. I'm sure there are more than just me that are tired of trying to fing them on e-bay!!!
Well Done Graham. Look forward to seeing it one day- Any chance of one of your photo reviews? A whats in the box, like you did for the airfix Bf109....

Not sure if a review of an out of production kit is all that meaningful Ian. Also, as it is not going to end up as the kit is detailed, i.e. it will be a GR1 not a GR3 (not really sure that will make much difference visually) However, none of the it decals will probably be used and the paint scheme will be totally different.
Having said that, I would be more than happy to review some of the later, current kits I have. Quite enjoy doing it really.Comment

Now you see Graham you said your self not one for buying a cat in a sack. Nor am I. Just wondered what you get for all the searching and parting with not to few £notes.
I am watching a GR1 AND a GR3 at the moment. And a Harrier oh and a Tornado or two......and a lightning f6
Still can't find an f1.
