3 RAF bases closing

The RAF have offered to bin the Nimrod MRA.4 aircraft programme and also retire the Tornado GR4 fleets within 5 years. They also offered to shut the bases. This means that Kinloss, Lossiemouth and Marham are looking like they'll shut

It is rumoured that a few near where I live are facing the axe to. It could mean the early departure of Harriers from Wittering, the closest to where I live and Typhoons moving in from a base, or bases, closing down.. No confirmed details on it though.

Well the Typhoons planned for Leuchars have to go somewhere. I heard it was closing too. That means no RAF bases in Scotland
