What a good day it has been!

Before we went shopping at the Temple that is ASDA today, I asked the boss if we could pop into Hobbycraft to get a couple of paints recommended for the bikes.

It would appear that they have been getting rid of some older stock and I picked up 1:48 Tamiya TigerI Initial production Afrika Corps, a box of 1:48 US GIs in combat,a box of jerry cans in 1:48 (comes with oil drums and other bags etc) the two paints and the boss told me to get the Honda CBR 1100 XX Super Blackbird kit as she was embarrassed at my drooling..... To top it all, she paid for them!!!!!

Then she wanted to go clothes shopping and gave me £6 pocket money to "get a magazine" I skipped off to WH Smith clutching my pocket money and what did I find? Cross of Iron DVD for £6!!!!!

She has now gone out to a Hen night and I have a couple of trout in the oven and a DVD to watch.... No modelling for me tonight guys :-)

You get "pocket money". I have to put shiny gold stars on a behaviour chart just to qualify for some sweet money.No disrespect,but how many times has anyone planned a night down the pub with their friends, and have spent all day keeping their wife sweet so that tomorrow when they have the hangover from hell she might give you a few hours grace before finding all those jobs to do that involves alot of noise. I think you have subconsciously been played by the female of the species. Either that or she's out now telling her friends " Oh i just spent a few quid on him down the model shop and now i can get blind drunk be sick on the bedroom floor, get breakfast in bed tomorrow and lay on the sofa all day tomorrow watching Eastenders".

LOL, Kate doesn't drink Paul so that isn't going to happen. In fact, she is the chief driver for the night. I do have to do one thing to earn the stuff, I have to tidy my corner in the living room and transfer as much as I can into the cave while keeping my desk for building. Have to admit, it is a bit of a state at the moment.

John, I get pocket money to get a magazine by stamping my feet and have a paddy outside the cloths shop, she gives me some money to go away and stop embarrassing her lol.

Just finished Cross of Iron. It really isn't a bad film! I was not expecting as much action as there was, the film is full of it. Some lovely T34 action going on, really worth a watch if you haven't seen it.
