    What if it was real....

Following on from Martins wishfull thinking list idea, who about this one:

If you could have a military vehicle, boat, aircraft, or the like, what would you have.

Just to make it a bit more of a challenge it MUST be some thing you can actually use.

So if you dont have a licence to drive or fly it, ya cant 'av it!!!

Just to get the ball rolling:

I would Love to get hold of a BMW or Zundap combo and restor it to full glory (minus guns) and tool around on that. Also one with out a side car would be nicer still.

A wish that has often ratteled around in my head is a Schwimmwagon. Living on an island is fun but having to pay to cross the bridge to Jutland or Sweden is a pain in the posterior.

A fun way to beat the system that one.

As far as a full blown boat, wonder if you can still get hold of a Piper!?. Any thing that can sail in 10" of water has got to be fun!!!

Wondering why I never took a PPL!

There's only one thing for me and thats the Centurion Mk5/2, it's not for me but for me dad so he can relive when he was happier (and fitter). I'm lucky to have the tracked vehicle licence so i can play when he's not around.

            Have fun, John

For me it would be a Kubelwagen, love em, oh and a Zundapp same as ya self, love then too and i would'ent say no to a scout vehicle...something like a Dingo. Now ripping around Dartmoor with any of these would be awsome so if you can arrange delivery i would be grateful Ian....cheers dude, Martin :-)

As I do not have a full licence, it would have to be some sort of motorbike. Failing that, I would settle for this for when I am riding to work and the Taxi drivers think it is fun to pull out on me........

Harley Davidson MT350 or Armstrong MT500, (something I may well get a chance to buy and use yet), no chrome on this Harley

I've had a crack at a Kubelwagen and aside from the stunned disbelief of folks you pass i'd let someone else have the pleasure, all the 'driving a bus'-ness of the good old VW beetle with a stack more wind and less refinement, (and anyone who's had a beetle knows the refinements is virtually non-existant).

Does Airwolf count as a military vehicle, please, please, please

I've got a licence to thrill so it would have to be a harem of those scantily-clad, women fantasy figures!

Boo Hiss, always wanted a Tiger. But I like Trickey`s idea so as to keep to the rules , a S.A.S jeep with twin machine guns fitted, no more shopping with associated parking problems.

                        Gareth.

Does that qualify as military? Have I been missing something by not being in the army?

                          :sobbing:

Re the Airwolf, I don't have a pilots license for a Heli, but then again i'll bet Jan Michael Vincent doesn't either so if he can I can, so there.

With an m1a1 abrams you have no more parking problems either from other drivers or traffic wardens and god help the poor sod who tries to scratch your paintwork with a key.
