Kinetic model kits.

Found my next victim. However before I commit to buying the kit I would like to ask here.

Has any one had hands on experience, looked in the box, built one of their kits. I have found several reviews on t'internet, and they all say good things. So just wondering what you think.

I am wanting an F.16 block 15 A as flown by the RDAF. Its their 50th aniversary this year and they have painted one up to celebrate. Lucky for me its quite a simple job to paint the special markings (well most of it). Kinetick just happen to be the only F-16 of the correct type in the right scale. With Danish markings to boot!!!

    It looks like this:

As you can see the tail is the only bit thats been painted up and its just a three colour job so should be able to do it with a couple of maskes!

I`ve read that they are okay, but not tried one myself, so sorry can`t help. Let us know if you do buy one and what it is like as the range has some good kits? Gareth.

Ian, have a look at this website, select the 'All Kits' menu, they review some of Kinetic's kits including an F-16 build. They generally get a good press. Cheers Derek

Thanks for the tip Derek, but I have seen that allready, as i said seen internet rewiews but was wondering if any of you chaps had actually seen one.

Allyne; Dont look bad do it. Pitty there is not an aftermarket decal for it, would sure make the painting of it easier!!! The only thing it has is the Danish roundels and the ac number. (almost I need 194 and the kit has 192 I think it was).

Having blown my 'pocket money' this month on flea-bay- just won another one!!! (Jaguar gr3 a if anyone is interested). So I will have to wait a bit for the F-16 :-(

When I get it I will do a review and eventually a build report.
