Sorry to hear that Graham. Hope you get some time to do somebuilding but spending time and caring for your parents is more important then us/models. Good luck with the future and hope to see you on here from time to time.

Thats tragic Graham, keep in touch when you can, and I`m sure you will find time to build a kit or two, takes me forever to finish a kit, but at least I get a laugh on this forum. Take care mate.

      Gareth.

That's sad news Graham. You look after your mom - she's the only one you'll get. There's thousands of kits and they're not going anywhere.

Feel for you mate, never easy caring for someone with conditions such as this. Often it is the person doing the caring that gets forgotten and its all to easy to end up falling ill yourself, hope you find a few mins at times to pop on the forum for a little light relief. All the best and take care of ya self, regards Martin :-)

Sorry to hear about this Graham. The thing with caring is that it is just something we do. People who don't act as careres often think that carers are special people, we are not we are ordinary, it is what we do to care for our loved ones that is a special gift both ways. Sometimes, often indeed, it is hard but we still do it. Hang in there mate and take it as it comes there will be ups and downs, forget the downs, remember the ups. Take every break you can and never feel bad about having a break, you need to trust me.

                    Sorry to hear that Graham.

My other half is my full time carer, so I know just how difficult it can be.

You must take time out for yourself and get as much help and support from the carers association, social services as you can, remember mate your not alone.

                    Enjoy the air show.

                    Joolz.

Very sorry to hear that Tony,as you may remember I lost my mum just over a year ago so I understand how difficult and busy a time you've been having.

Graham,my mother had various medical problems towards the end of her life and whilst I wasn't the only one caring for her I certainly spent a lot of time driving her to hospitals and generally trying to be useful. I'm self employed so was lucky to be able to make as much time (nearly) as was required. It's important not to forget yourself in all this. make yourself a bit of time to relax, stick a few bits of plastic together or whatever else you fancy.

I wish you all the best, and your mum too.

                              Cheers

                              Steve
