Is anyone else suffering from adverts (apart from 'our' shop) appearing on posts?

I am, then when I look at the thread again they are gone.

Perhaps it's just a freaky occurance.

    Don't like it one bit....

Are these adverts from people posting or Google type ads?

John, they are google type ads. Fenlander's reply to you re. pigments had 3 on his post!

Not sure why, most of the Google ads will only show to unregistered users, there are a few that don't but nothing that would get in your way

No problem, just one of those quirky things that sometimes happens, but I thought it best to see if anyone else was getting the same.

          Thanks,

I haven't noticed any, but I was looking on the Halfords website at their plastic primer and also on B&Q for extractor fans. and now every time I have been visiting websites that have advertising on their banner's it all seems to be those two items that they are advertising,

the internet is stalking me or I need a tin foil hat

Spooky , I`ve had computer problems for the last 2-3 hrs ie- computer freezing when trying to post on here , then resetting itself back to 2006 , norton turning itself off etc after finally getting it going and sorting out the norton and running a scan they had blocked some high risk threats which I`ve never had before, seems odd that my problems occured and then Ron posted a thread about adverts popping up

I know f all about computers but it seems to be running fine now , very strange ,

                        Advertising, just been got at!!

I've just [picked up one ad for models and one for Virgin on the last two responses to Aircools' question about the Veyron.

The Virgin ad seems to be glued to the bottom of John's shop ad!!

                        Peter

P.S. Looked again immediately after posting and they've gone.!!

Excellent, but troublesome. My first thought was that there was no escape but I'm glad to see that somehow, they are under control.
