Next week i'm taking some time off to go on a wee break with my little boy before he goes back to school on the 18th, we'll be chucking the bare essentials in my nowhere near finished campervan conversion and heading generally southward with no specific destination in mind as yet, (Portmeirion is preying on my mind, went there years ago and found it fascinating, also Tenby but...)
It's all open plan so far, we're just going to head off and stop and eat and kip where and when necessary with maybe a brief stop in Yorkshire to catch up with friends and family we don't see so often.

Does anyone have any recommendations for Must visit shops of the model kit variety and even places like transport museums and such a 5 year old and an adult with the occasional mental outlook of a 10 year old
might find interesting.
