this just arrived from the nice pst guy , it cost a bit more than I wanted to pay but then it is hard to get this side of the pond all I need now is the origional Cylon centurion and my BSG collection is complete but that is harder to find than rocking horse poo!
1:4105?????? Dangggggg how big is that thing in real life o_Oo_O
I'm going down a dark path into the unknown !
A lighting pale for galactica and ive realised if I put my Cylon figure on the same base I can light his eye as well , well that's the plan anyway knowing my look ill set it up switch it on and my phone will ring
Then to help with postage I agreed that the seller could seperate the bits. After cleaning in oven cleaner, repinning and sticking the joints it now looks like this

And with any luck its going to look like this when its finished (Or something not too distant LOL)
This is a first for me as normally I use an AB to prime it and then paint using brushes. With this one Im going to be doing a lot more AB work, mainly the reds in the bodies, the highlighting and then the black wings. Then Ill do the fine details with a brush.
do like him how big is that one,?
much the same way i do thing primer AB,
base coat AB,
them so lows,highs with AB
will look forward to seeing this one,
He is roughly 12cm in all directions. His axe arm has been bent into a more realistic pose.
When Ive finished him Ill be splashing out the £70 for the new one that only came out this weekend. ITS HUGE!!!!
This is the collection "through the ages"
From left to right

2 - The Bloodthirstercirca 1995 (Thats the one posted above, i.e. mine)

Update - If you look at teh picture of the second deamon then look at his axe. I measured ONLY the handle (With no blade) and its 5.5 cm. Hopefully that will put the rest into perspective. Also, because its a metal figure it weighs LOTS!!!
interesting Alan,do like the setup for these, per wired and a nice board to pug them into,
and you know that would happen to me a well, who,s calling me,
and what it run off mains or battery ?
It can run off a battery moni , the guy in the shop gave me a 9volt battery connector for free ive just got to connect the wires and put some insulation tape around it and it's ready to go
A couple of weeks ago I got the new Airfix Defiant, and it looks pretty good
I also have the old (1960?) kit, which had been stashed away for ages
I plan on making the new kit, and using that as a pattern to help make the old one, with any spares left over, and a couple of magazine articles. I also have an old Spitfire fuselage which I will take the nose off to improve the old kit
The new kit has two schemes with almost complete decal sheets for each, so I can make the day or night fighter; I just have to find a roundel or two
I don't suppose the old kit can be made as good as the new one, but I'd like to do it for my own interest.
