My haul from Sutton Coldfield today (perhaps better than I might have done as John wasn't able to come and pip me to them!):

To the best of my knowledge, stashitis is incurable, so I'm afraid mine's terminal now!

A present for my birthday. I haven't done aircraft for about 20 years or so. Excited to start this but the mottling scares me a little.

Mottling in 1/72? That should be fun!

Yea. Not sure how to approach it.

Very carefully. You can buy masks for mottling in the larger scales, but I don't know about 1/72. Might be worth a look. They're only thin sheets (probably brass) with irregular holes - maybe you could make your own out of thin card or plastic?

That's OK. I've not seen any cheaper on ebay (allowing for postage of course!).

Yeah nice haul there Dave. Sadly I wasn't able to make it today so you had a free reign on all those bargains. But I'll be at Telford for the two days with a nice budget so I'll see how much I can grab from under your nose. I especially like that fire jeep.

Thanks. Will have a look. If not I will try my hand at making my own.

If you do yourself a search on google using 1:72 mottle masks you will get a wealth of detail to help
