I'm after one of these when I can get the money together. It must be the Trumpeter kit as the only other one I know of in this scale is /was a Koster vacform.I look forward to seeing you build this one.

I have been wanting one of these for a while then I get side tracked and get something else.

I can see a Star Trek theme on the forum just of late, and now i'm going to add to it lol. Been after one of these for years but the price as been going up and up, the late one i seen on ebay was over £100. By luck i found one still bagged up for £24.90 +£3.95 p&p, so i went for it. Came this morning and very happy.

            Have fun, John

Sounds like a plan Paul, we'll have to see if anyone else is up for one in the future. But i'm thinking a "Sci Fi SIG" as it'll be a longer time frame if we want lighting and stuff. I have a good few Star Trek models to have a go at (and yes, i'm still building the USS Voyager).

Sorry Polux, i forgot bud lol. It's 1/72 scale, but from what i've read it's close to 1/66 scale. Still i have some figures for it, and i need to scratch build an interior from it too because it don't have one. So should be fun.

                        Have fun, John

This arrived today, filled my porch!!! Ok so its gonna be a big build that I hope to work on between other builds as I don't wish to rush it, it will stand at 5 feet tall so when its finished and on our club table you should be able to find me at the shows

Ade that's big you don't do things by halves do you looks a great rocket will watch this build although at that size will be hard to miss and like you say you will be easy to find at forthcoming shows but you better pull your finger out as Telford show is in November and I will be looking for this big beauty sorting a carriage box for this could be a problem though cheers John

It's not as bad as it looks, honest... These are all my kit acquisitions in the past four months, and all but one have been given to me as gifts etc., so I haven't actually spent that much.

                                A few 1/144 kits:-

I've been after one of these for ages and saw they were back in stock at HLJ:-

And a long-time modelling friend of mine presented me with these when I was over in the UK in April. (Thanks, Bob!)
