That's not a bad kit Patrick and it comes with a thick stand so you can hide the wires for the lightingOh before I forget , make sure you secure the bridge section firmly it looks like it fits well but only two places actually touch the inner surface

I did see your build of this after I'd searched for examples Alan & it decided me as I was torn between this one & the Polar Lights 1701 refit kit.

To be honest, I prefer the look of the refit Enterprise, but this one's bigger! :P

I want the ertle enterprise so I can get the destroyed saucer section from STIII , it is a fare size , 1/500 scale I think
