Just got back from Modelfest with these. Another airfix Nimrod and a book about the Mighty Hunter too. My six year old daughter bought herself an Airfix Red Arrows Hawk for £3 and won an Airfix Sherman in the tombola.

Sorry I can't add photos from my iPad anymore so I'll have to do it from my pc later.
On the bench: Airfix 1/48 Sea King HC4, Revell 1/24 Trabant.
Coming soon: Airfix 1/72 Phantom FGR2.
Just finished: Airfix 1/48 Stuka & Airfix 1/72 Sea King HC4.

My friend just got back from Orlando and he spotted this for me, I've wanted one for a while for a customer that comes into my shop. He owns a Texan and so wanted to make one up for him, just need to pop down to Bristol and get loads of shots so I can make it as exact as possible

            Hi all,

Went to a show today in Spalding which unbeknown to me has be going for years its the ipms wings and things. Met some local modellers who were very welcoming and i had many invites to other shows etc... i think my wallet allows 2 shows a year and very controlled buying thats what i attempt :P

Anyways enough rambling heres what i got!

The books and picture were raffle prizes couldnt not give it a go as all proceeds went to charity!

A friend gave this to me...so I may also do a NYPD version of this Plymouth.

Anyone any ideas on the shade of blue used back in the 70's?

As I have seen many many different shades in pics.

I can't give you a definit shade but as a starter it looks very much like humbrols no47 sea blue or 48 meditrerranean blue or somthing around there.
