            I picked this up last night £ 5.00 ............. It's an old kit and the decals are probably "shot" but it looks well detailed. I'm not really sure why I bought it ??? I don't normally do "Tanks"

              Nice one Colin! Whilst it might lack the detail of more modern kits, a fiver isn't too much to cut your teeth on armoured stuff!


              I'd steer clear of the box art - the panzer IV F1/2 was the up-gunned Ausf D using the L/48 75mm if memory serves.


              Most of these saw service in North Africa, so an Afrika Corps paint scheme would be ideal.

                I've done a little research on this and I agree.......... I think the Afrika Corps Ausf G is probably the way forward when I finally get around to it. When I finish what I'm on at the moment, next on the bench is a ship "Knyaz Suvarov" at that might take a good while.

                        My boys got me the Revell Routemaster for my birthday and what a kit it is , the box is huge and the kit looks superb , I also got some after market bits for the Tamiya 1/12 Honda RC166 that I got for xmas - clutch and fork kit , metal turned wheels and spokes , and rivet kit ,

                          It's a great kit, I've enjoyed the build on this one. It will be interesting to see how Pandas 4x4 Cougar builds up...I'll let you know how that one goes o_O

                            Academy tiger 1/35 scale new tool and comes with zimmerit tool so I've got to get some milli putty not sure I will though , I might try it out first on some card just to see how I go with it [ATTACH]109352.IPB[/ATTACH]

                            and another Battlestar Galactica as I've learnt a lot more since I built my last one 2 years ago and I want to paint it how it should look , ie heavily damaged [ATTACH]109353.IPB[/ATTACH]

                            oh and I got some white weathering powder so I can tarnish bare aluminium properly

                                Just got a 1/400 scale Revell Titanic 100 year anniversary edition, including glue paints + extras all for £10.30. Cheapest I have seen is £25-with some still pushing £40 o_O
