Hi everyone a visit to LMS today for one of these
And left with these. The metal colour was a must buy after seeing Ian's(papa) thread about them. I exclusively use Alclad at the mo and I'm going to see how these compare. And the gun well I like big guns. Also there was a young lad in the shop the son of the owner I think he was about 16/17ish at a guess. He was building some models for display and had already completed a 1/24 Stuka and Spitfire and his workmanship was outstanding and I was even more impressed when he informed me they had been brush painted with humbrol acrylics and water as I can never master these paints but after seeing what he'd achieved with them I will certainly be trying them again. And the Airfix Stuka model in itself was a quality piece of kit and as now gone straight to the top of my Christmas wish list. Sliding canopy moveable bomb cradle and flaps etc. £59.99 My address supplied upon request Remember tis the season to be jolly...........................
Two weeks after being made redundant I managed to get some contract work. Then a week later I was paid my redundancy money. So I treated myself to the new 1/32 Mosquito from Johns shop. Its the finest kit I've ever seen.Im going to enjoy this one!.
Bought the huey from Si, that, the blackhawk and the spitfire will be the last aircraft i do.
Ive found my love in modelling, and thats Armour!
So i bagged these two babies!
The link by link i may need help with!
I'm in the middle of building the T62. There's a lot of cleaning up to do, unusual for Tamiya, and the turret is smooth! A few coats of Mr Surfacer has put that right!
Mmmm, dunno, maybe I got a rogue one, but mine has been a bit of a surprise bearing in mind its a Tamiya, lots of flash, I mean LOTS of flash, I'm guessing its well old, as it was cheap as chips. Have you done a build log / completed post yet? Am just priming mine up ready for that wonderful Russian Green!!
