This arrived today the new tool Sea King
With two options for the build ( think I'll do the winter one )
And you also get the option to fit a motor in to make the rotor blades turn,if you buy the motor

Just had this arrive in the post today. Huge thank you to Santa John for getting it here so quickly and in time for me to read while the TV is pumping out its seasonal rubbish
I appreciate that pre shading, modulation etc is not everyone's cup of tea. I like the idea of modulation but I could not get on with the harsh masked panel effect. This book takes the idea forward and looks like it has hit on the ideas I was not clever enough to think out myself.
The book is surprisingly heavy and beautifully printed. Time to study the theory and, in the new year I will be knocking on John's door again for the paint set to try it out.
If I get it right, I will do a review of both. If not, I will have a really odd looking Valentine in the new year.

I like the look of these, not sure about the motor idea though...does it power the tail rotor too? I don't fancy doing SOAP & chip's on those gearboxes!Originally posted by \This arrived today the new tool Sea King
