          Just got this monster for £40 off a mate who's thinning his stash. Thats a 1/48 P51 to give an idea of the size of this thing.

              I saw one of these finished at IPMS last week and it is huge.
              On the bench: Airfix 1/48 Sea King HC4, Revell 1/24 Trabant.
              Coming soon: Airfix 1/72 Phantom FGR2.
              Just finished: Airfix 1/48 Stuka & Airfix 1/72 Sea King HC4.

                It's going to need a lot of lead to keep the nose wheel on the ground as well. I may have to buy a metal U/C set for it.

                                Nearly as big as the 1/32 B17 and Lancaster....    The HKM giants at least have a bracket to fix the model to a wall.....


                                How about building a coffee table with a mirror shelf and sides and a glass top, with the built model encased inside?  A nice feature in your lounge...
