    A Get Together?

Prompted by Tony's latest thread about next year's stash I started to wonder if there would be any mileage in a get together shortly before Christmas? It's certainly not too early to suggest it...

Or a 'Bash' anytime for that matter!

A one/two night's stay somewhere near the middle of the country, or just meet for the day and evening somewhere, wives allowed, of course!

I realise there would always be people with a lot further to travel than others, no matter where the venue was, but I thought I would air the possibility and to see if anyone would be interested and also is there anyone with suitable skills who would like to organise summat'.... if enough folks said yes.

    Any thoughts boys and girls?

    Cheers,

    Ron

I 'aint suggesting anything specific. All I personally want to do is meet as many 'Forumers' as possible.

Museums, events are at the bottom of my priority list.

I would just like to meet you good people and get to know, albeit for a short time, the folks who are at the minute just typed words on a screen.

Except Tony, Dave and Scott whom I had the pleasure to meet at RAF Cosford earlier this year.

Yep Martin, my nurse would be coming, she keeps my pocket money in her purse!

So what do you think? Me and the present Mrs. Ron are up for it...

Sounds like a good idea Ron. Always nice to see the real people behind what we see on our 'puter screens!

I'm still job hunting, but if money permits count me in.

If work permits I'd be in. Of course I live in the middle of the country or at least England, apologies to our Scottish friends who doubtless consider me to live in the South.

                Cheers
