How many kits in your stash are yet to be built? I'm a newbie and I already have 8 not touched. I can't resisit buying them when I order some stuff like paint etc
About 50 but some I just know will never get built, especially some of the 1:35 armour/military ones. I will only do certain kits in 1:35 now such as the Valentine I got recently and the SAS desert jeep I have to do with a few add ons.
Two and I never accumulate more than five. It stems from having children etc and no space. Now they've gone and I have the space I find my habits don't change! I tend to buy to build.
I have got a cupboard full of tools and probably more than a hundred paints and varnishes etc.
We had a 'show us yer stash' thread some time back that prompted me to catalog all my kits on an excel spreadsheet. That spreadsheet lists something in the region of 250 kits; roughly 1/2 are military - 1/35 armour/rail/landing craft/trucks or artillery pieces; 80 are 1/35 resin figures/boxes of figures with the remainder comprising of aircraft, diorama buildings, cars, and a couple of Star Wars kits. The 2 largest kits are a 1/24 Trumpeter Hurricane and a Tamiya 1/16 RC Tiger 1
You may be mad... I, on the other hand, am clearly a stark raving lunatic in need of counselling:doctor:
An' I thought the 97 I have in my stash was bad enough!
Mind you, over 20 of those are 1/32 aircraft, there's a Spitfire and FW 190 in 1/24 and there's the big one - Revell's 1/48 B1 Lancer. There's a CH 53, Hercules and Condor also in 1/48.
There's three big 1/35 copters (Chinook, Black Hawk and Super Frelon). Even my 1/72 stuff is big. It includes the B36 Peacemaker, ME 323 Gigant, BV 222 and the Mil 26 Halo as well as the Snowberry.
's a real good job the rate I build 'em at is glacially slow. We only live in a 2-up 2-down terrace so there's not much room! Hope there's plenty of space in that asylum - I'm coming in!
