    First light

Did anyone see this on Tuesday night?

Have just watched it today as i've been stranded at home with a poorly son.

Absolutely riveting and a really fascinating story, very well shot.

Tells the story of Geoffrey Wellum, the youngest Spitfire pilot in the Battle of Britain, 92nd squadron.

    Very highly recommend this one.

Read the book (same name) about a year ago. Better than the programme for people bits but doesn't have the joy of the aircraft.

Well worth BBC anytime or whatever it's called.

Has to be good, Senior Management watched and called me in to see it.

Read the book quite a few times. Watched it today after recording it on Sky+. Was really good. Although watching them taxi Mk.V and Mk.IX Spitfires when it's supposedly the BoB was making me chuckle. But was totally well worth the time spent watching it. This is the sort of things kids should be learning in school and not the useless rubbish they learn these days (all imho of course lol)

I watched it and thoroughly enjoyed it. Some of the markings changed during taxiing but you have to allow them a degree of poetic license with such a project. I thought the story was very well presented and I really did get a feel of an open and honest view of the time. Plus I could watch Spitfires in flight till the cows come home! Highly recommended.
