    Can I resist it?

One of John's competitors has announce its UK price of the HK B25 Mitchell in 1:32 scale....

Its £142... a lot of money, for a lot of kit though.

Can I possibly resist it.... I did promise myself that I would have to get my stash down from 9 at present to 5 or 6 before a new purchase....

    But...but....but....

Are you going to get them is John? - please don't how could I possibly resist if I am taunted by them in your line-up. (trembling hands....)

    Looking at it logically ....

It'll build into a 25 inch wingspan beast.

it's £142 (although john will be cheaper i'm sure)

That means it's only £5.70 (ish) per inch .......

    I SAY TREAT YOURSELF !!!!

The question is how many other kits would you build in the same time it takes to build that one kit.

Both price and space wise, It's got to be the big one.

After the sterling job you made of the Skyraider, Barry, you just know you have to do it!

          Go for it Barry.

As Ian I rate models in cost on the basis of how long it is going to give me enjoyment in constructing it.

Obviously if you are hell bent on producing as many models as possible then you budget in a different way.

My Wellington cost £35 but in hours of enjoyment (plus an amount of frustration, free stress factor by Trumpeter free of charge) it was very cheap & gave me more pleasure than a two week 1/72 USA fighter. Still liked building the Fighter as it gave a short break from the bigger stuff

Go on Barry! You know you really want one and you're just using us to talk you into it! Besides, even at that price, it's cheaper than your Skyraider.

Hi Barry perhaps down to being unemployed and not having much money, I'm gonna be the voice of caution!!!! Personally I think £142 is a lot of money to spend on a kit, and even if funds were better I don't think I'd spend it. But, if you are happy paying that, then go for it mate.:thumbs-up:

Perhaps a small hanger in the back garden to display it in!!!!!!

                    Cheers, Andrew

Don't do it Barry - wait for their second release, the 1/32 B-17!!!!!

The B17 - with a wingspan of over 3"...... now that is too big even for my house for that I would need an aircraft hanger. Even if I could accomodate it I think I would wait until the release after that - the Lancaster which was without a doubt the best bomber of WW2 even though less 'pretty' than the B17.

Going to disagree with you there, I for one like the way the Lanc looks more than the B-17...
