Nothing like starting with an easy one Trey! Still you can cut the diagram and use it as a mask! ;-) I rather like the Owl, but run screaming when I think of painting it.

If this turns out halv as good as your bikes, its going to be pretty amazing so get on with it and show us we are right!

Great looking kit! Again, if this turns out anything like your bike models we're in for a treat!

Nice one,I've seen your bikes so I know this'll be good.

Ian there's a (relatively) simple way of masking this sort of mottle, but at 1/48 or 1/32 it can be done freehand.

                Cheers

I have this kit in the stash and i actually picked it up to look at before deciding on the Ta-154. It's a well detailed kit and looks a lovely build. Will defo be watching this one

Oh my word, that's a great starter model for painting, am looking forward to this one.

I'm sure you'll do a good job on it though, if it's 1/48 rough freehand with a 0.3mm nozzle and nicely thinned a bit more than usual paint with slightly lower pressure will do that a treat.

Trey, you have the skills and ability! Your bike builds prove that. Just 'cos it's a different shape to what you're used to doesn't necessarily make it harder. Go for it - you'll get there.

We seem to be missing a smily that says "what he said!"

But Dave is so right, the skill set you have it should be no problems for you.
