I for one think its a ripping good idea! I say let them wear their tags and if people dont like it just point out that; "it is a GERMAN shepard, what do you expect the Victoria cross?"
My farther had a black lab when he was young. I wont say what it was called, but you would never get away with it these days....

When I was a nipper growing up in West Africa my parents looked after a black labrador belonging to a diplomat at the British High Commission whilst he returned to the UK on leave. Indeed,but these things are of their time. I understand that the mutt will be called something else in the Peter Jackson remake. Right or wrong? I don't know but he's hardly a central character in the story.
