Now this is different and interesting, Nazi flying saucer

Spotted on another forum i've been looking around on.

Now it would be much more fun if we could see the photos.

Yes it would. I've got a pretty good idea what he's built. Nazi flying saucers started appearing in literature within five years of the end of the war. Like all good conspiracy type theories they have their roots in fact. The nazis were indeed practicing some "weird science" in their quest for wonder weapons and these saucers are just an illogical extrapolation of the facts. To answer one of the posters in that forum, these things should definitely be put in the science fiction section and certainly not Luft'46!

I'd still like to see his model.

      Cheers

Aah, didn't realise it was one o' them where you can't see the images if not registered, always a bugger that one, I don't understand the reasons, however, without getting into the intricacies i'll stick a pic on here, (Hopefully the owner won't mind but if it dissapears suddenly you'll know why)

He's done a cracking job on the model and Dio, I don't know any specifics of the rumours or propoganda surounding these but I guess this is as good a shot as any.

          That's a great little dio. I think he's done a great job.

The Germans were famously experimenting with very modern looking flying wing designs and these would have become operational within a couple of years. Their rather weirder anti gravity and other propulsion experiments really came to nothing. Some were followed up by the victorious allies, particularly the Soviets, but we've yet to see a Russian flying saucer using some kind of anti-gravity drive, except in science fiction.

Do you think the markings would have been covered by RLM regulations? The swastikas should be on a vertical surface......I'l get my coat.

          Cheers

Looks a bit like the Adamski UFO picture some years ago.
