    Still here.

Hello everyone, just thought id better pop on and let people know i havent gone AWOL or even worse deserted to another forum!! Ive not been doing much ,if any , modelling for a good few months now after the passing away of my dad and the associated business that follows. Ive also been very busy DIYing too, so the shed has been neglected, but i still look in on the forum regularly ,its just that i havent had the time to post much or comment on anyone elses posts so apologies to anyone whose stuff ive missed. My entry for the summer GB is still on the bench ,cockpit partly completed but thats all, so i think i may be just a tad late finishing it (try 2 months late!!!) Hopefully ill be finishing the living room soon so may get a bit more time to get in the shed, Ive got a little' What if' im doing to try and get my mojo back (bf 109f-4 as a post war reno racer !) but im just torn between what colour to do it -candy apple red or candy apple blue , any thoughts? Anyways im off now to do some varnishing (skirting boards not models !) cheers tony

Knowing what you have had to deal with Tony, I didn't expect you back in force for a while. You know where we all are so drop in and out as time permits. We are keeping your chair warm and the paint stirred so when ya ready, just drop in and build. You have been missed but we know you are there so chin up mate and get ya DIY sorted so your mind is as straight as is possible in Sheffield ;-) Look forward to seeing you behind the bench again bud.

I don't understand the question but I will go with Candy Apple Red to.......

                Hi Tony

I'm really sorry to hear about the death of your dad, I lost my dad last year so I know what you've been through and you have my sympathies. You do what you have to mate, and when you get the time and the urge to stick bits of plastic together we'll be here to see the fabulous results.

BTW, my vote goes for candy apple blue.

All the best and hope the skirting boards don't take too long.

                Take care

                Paul

Hi Tony, nice to know you're ok mate. Take your time we'll still be here when you've done the decorating, i know what it was like when i did ours. Wanted to paint models not walls (and i'm a painter and decorator by trade lol). Messerschmitt in candy apple red would look nice.

Have fun, John (or try to have fun bud)
