Hi tony, maybe something different to what youd normally do will help to get your spark back? I know you were asking a bit back about the sweet kits, well theres a shed load on e-bay finishing in about 6 hours, maybe one of these little beauties would be a quick tonic? , cheers tony

I'm a great believer in doing something that is a quick fix and is completely differnt to what you would normally make. It should be cheap and very quick and easy to put together to give you the biggest grin for the minimum input. It may end up in the kids toy box or the dog basket but who cares as long as it gets you kick started again.
I find something like a cartoon character works wonders.Comment

This made me laugh today......
Hear about the psychic midget who escaped from jail? Yeah the headlines in the newspaper read "SMALL MEDIUM AT LARGE".Comment

Tony, i feel for ya, nothing like losing your mojo doing something you do for fun, but i'm at the other end of the spectrum, dying to get back in the shed but just started an extension and ripping out the old kitchen so access to the shed means a cold dark walk round the block plus she doesn't look too happy when i mention i have a tiger to undercoat when she's struggling to do the washing up in the bath:emo10:Comment

I just left my current project alone for a few days, I have just returned to it and the spark is back. I think we all go through stages like this and once in a while it is better to walk away until you feel as though you want to take up the reins again. It helps believe me and of course the support that is received by the like minded on here!:bow:Comment

I thought it was only me that had seemed to lose interest lately.
For me I think it is the lighter nights.
We seem to get more visitors at this time of the year, and more chores seem to raise their heads.
Normally I would cook tea, then get my building board out and settle down to a night of modelling.
Now we don't seem to settle down until later in the evening, then it's too late to get everything out!
I still keep buying odd bits and pieces, then put them in the cupboard with the rest of my stash.
Roll on darker nights, my wife has started calling me Victor Meldrew now!

I lost my mojo a couple of months back when the wife wasn't very well what with looking after her and just wanting to relax in the evening , now she's on the mend I have more time for the hobby but can't get back into big builds so I've got into smaller easier builds and my mojo is back on course , if I was Austin powers I'd say YEAH BABY !!Comment
