plane to see

well after 7 years i thought i would give it a go never built a plane before so i thought its about time and this is the model i have chosen

just thought i would ask anybody on here if they have built it and any advice..

this is high on my list,sort of to go with the theme of planes that were used on aircraft carriers with the name illustrious

I've not built that John but I understand that it is a very good kit,as you'd expect from Tamiya.

A biplane isn't the easiest subject to start aircraft modelling with!

cheers for the word of warning i thought i would jump in at the deep and got some p.e stuff on order with my hols and work on the house i prob wont start it till the end of year booking in advance i know

Ive got this kit in my stash so will be following this build.Im still working out how im going to rig mine.Tamiya do an etched rigging set for this kit.ive seen it and decided not to buy it because being etched the wires are flat not round section.So i dont think it looks very realistic.
