Vallejo gloss varnish - V - my airbrush

Gave up with Vallejo and went over to Windsor Newton. Airbrush lovely and give better protection

Vallejo Varnish is very temperamental.

Best is their polyurethane acrylic matte varnish. satin similar not bad.

Vallejo gloss is hopeless. Recently changed to Alclad 11 Lacquer Aqua Gloss Clear.
Superb. It is thin it is forgiving as it lays out flat even if you over spray.

Very nice finish. Need a higher gloss another coat.

Great finish for decals as it lays so flat & thin.

Hi mate the varnish was AK ULTRA MAT, the best mat i've ever had.
Think the bottle may be a bit old.

Hi Laurie, thanks for posting, as i've said to Steve it was rather old , well 18 months and has been standing , only used when I finish a build.
I've had the same trouble with Hannants as well . I do have some Vallejos in stock , but they are gloss ans satin.
