      I know what you mean, I did this with a 1:72 Hurricane. I had to fashion a soft copper fishing rod thingy to extract it. I still got it as I have every expectation it'll happen againhno::shoot::death: !!!!!

        Mine pet peeve is painting 1/35 scale figure faces.So hard to get right especially the eyes.

            I left this thread untill i could think of something profound ...... (unusual for me as i'm usually ... errmm ..oh yeah... a prat! )

            So ... my pet hate is that my eyes and hands don't operate the same as they did 20/30 years ago, modelling takes a bit longer and in shorter bursts before i have to recharge.

            If i knew then what i know now and had fully functional body bits i'd be on a roll i'll tell ya

                hi there .... for me it is the building of the landing gear for aircraft .. no matter how hard i try and how careful i am i just do not seem to get them right ... always look off to me ......lindsey

                  I had to actually break open the fuselage join on an Italeri AC-47 to retrieve a minigun from between the floor and the wingroot. I was not impressed at having to do this
