I went last year and it was a huge model show.Had to leave Southend at 5am to get their for opening time, but it was worth it.I went on the Sunday and there was still masses of stuff to buy.Im going again this year and it will be even bigger as they are adding another hall to the show.A word of warning though.Take plenty of money as you will see loads of things you want to buy!.

Great show and they have just announced the Royal Navy will be flying in a fully operational Lynx Helicopter! See the forums facebook page

      The show will not disappoint!

I'd go on the sunday as i've read on the web that they will hold a silence and remembrance as it's on the 11th.

Would be quite an experience to be amoungst so many others that will have the same respectful frame of mind.

I went on Sunday last year, it was a fantastic day out. This year I'll be going with the club I joined on the Saturday and then going again on the Sunday to wander the halls, I've planned in advance to take a lot more money with me this year as there is just so much to buy. I know Richard met up with a load of members last year, perhaps we can do the same and swap war stories, opps mean modeling stories

Ive never met anyone from the forum so it would be nice to speak to some of the members face to face.

Hi, I went on the Sunday last year and found that many of the stands were giving really good discounts of around 25% in the last couple of hours before closing.
