Just spotted this 3 parter on BBC2 started yesterday first part can be seen on catchup TV. Looking at R.A.F bases in Northern Irelands and their involvement during the war.
I watched it last night and had to leave the room at one point as I was shouting at the idiotic presenter. he has this incredibly annoying habit of over-enthusing about EVERYTHING as well as obviously muscling in for the cameras on proper archaeologists doing their job and getting in their way.
"Oh wow, look this piece of metal has survived (mangled) for 70 years!!!" Grrr SHUT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes that is sad as the subject is good. Seems to be the norm nowadays jazz it up at the expense of fact & the story.
Calm down Andrew. A darkened room with pretty pink lights & one of those things that her in doors litters rooms with. It squirts, as soon as you enter the room, with sweet smelling perfume. The sort that Jon Snow I would imagine wears.
Will be watching tonight. The story of Northern & Southern Island has been kept very quiet. There is a lot more to know.
