Sunday Oct 14th Newark expo model show

Just a quick heads up about the Lincoln and newark model club Expo . This is a great event held at the racecourse at Southwell ,Notts. Admission and car parking is free (well it was the last 3 years) and there are traders , club stands , an open to anyone competition and a bar/cafe . Its all held in the function rooms under the grandstand , ive been the last few years and its excellent . Ill be there so if anyone else is going then let me know and we can meet up for a coffee (or beer if youre lucky enough to not be driving)and a chinwag. I might even enter something in the comp ! The address and day /time is--- Expo 2012 , Venue: Southwell Race Course, Rolleston, NG25 0TS , Sunday October 14th 10 am - 4 pm ,, cheers tony ...... anyone whos definitely going post a reply and we will have to come up with a cunning plan to meet up!

Just got back from the show.

It was good to put names to faces and meet every one.

I though it was, as usual, a good show, except when some muppet put the music on forcing every one to shout at the person next to them just to be heard.

I`ll be back next year.
