I had a dob years ago, from a breeder in Barnsley, beautiful intelligent breed.

My dream is to own a Shelby GT500, I build a kit in the same colours I would have ( see in civ vehicles section )

another like a few on here I guess would be to be 2nd seat on the 2 seater Spitfire

My last dream has faded away in a bitter way....

I must say that I'm lucky, and almost always I have obtained my 'caprices'! But this time not, or at least now! From always my dream is to have a British classic Land Rover. Color bronze green, top Soft, right drive... Finaly, I found one here in your country, a serious dream to travel with it and calmly return to Spain driving this jewel.

But the Spanish laws are so negative.... that after asking and ask around I have the risk of taking the car to my house and of not being able to use!!! They would not allow me his traffic for an administrative failure!! Too risky!!

So at the moment an unsuccessful dream.

Ps: hi Chezzagaga, I have not swum with white sharks, but yes with others!! I'm a scuba diver and it's a spectacular sensation... Even more in a left military ship on the sea!! Hope you can do it soon!!

When I was a kid I had just 3 dreams...

            1. Join the Military and to serve my country...

            2. Learn to drive Artic's (Semi's to our Colonial friends)...

            3. Have a family (Wife and a couple of kiddies)...

Only 2 of my dreams came true, I have served my country and I learn't to drive Artic's, sadly the family and kiddies didn't and now will never come true...

ive got too many dreams to mention, but like Polux ive been into SCUBA diving for years. I qualified as a PADI instructor back in 1997 and although ive got out of the way of diving ive had some great memories. Ive dived with sharks, rays, dolphins and been on several wrecks..Scapaflow, Hawaii...

One of my most memorable dives was on Molokini, an extinct volcano off the coast of Maui..From above it looks likes a huge crescent with half of the caldera exposed.

On the seaward side you see pelagic species..deep ocean stuff, and the cliff face is full of amazing life..in the sheltered basin of the caldera there is a wealth of coral, all patrolled by reef sharks..the anchor line can be seen all the way from the boat to the moorings...Incredible experience.

Chezzagaga..its never too late mate..great whites are on my bucket list. Im 42 next month and after the year ive had i know that the next 40 years (if i live that long) will feel like 10 years...do it mate...you dont even need to be able to dive coz you go down in a cage..let me know where and when and i'll book my ticket and brown wetsuit!

Like Andy I had 3 dreams,

                join the military (RCT)

                drive artics,

                and have a family

Two out of three, I failed my medical to join the army (this was devastating to me at the time), but completed the other two, and now have a wonderful grandson to boot.

but it seems that I complete on and I get another like having a craft room and so on.

Same dream as Andy & Jason, and like Jason i failed my medical to get in the army too. When i was a kid thats all i thought about, following in my dads footsteps and get in the RTR. At the time i thought i'd let my father down, but i didn't as i tried and was willing to take the "king's shilling".

Now i just dream of winning the lottery, still a disappointing dream lol.

Who doesn't dream of winning the lottery. I sure do This weeks jackpot is Kr120,000,000. or about £12,000,000 in real money. Fat chance of winning that though!

The only thing I really dream of these days is being able to quite work and enjoy the good things in life.
