Well done Andrew, Waitrose are a very good company to work for. I have family who work for them and also in the past they have worked for their sister company John Lewis.
2 of my favourite stores - apart from my local Hannants

Great news for you Andrew.
We have 3 Waitrose Stores here in Jersey & they are very impressive.
Hope you get some fish coming your way. They always look fresh here. Unlike that other nameless store, Sainsbury whose fish is awful all dried up.
Hope all goes well. You have hooked a good one.

Weeell, thanks guys for all your comments, but I went today to sign my contract only to be told the job offer was being withdrawn because I bite my fingernails. I don't do it badly, right down to the quick, like some people, but according to their health and safety laws I cant have the job. They didn't even ask this till after the job was offered to me, so what a waste of time and total downer

That is a sad state of affairs Andrew after getting to that stage.
Think it is worth talking to your Doc. Andrew to get him to help. I suspect that this may be a down factor in any job applied for where you need every plus factor available to you.
Hope something else comes along soon for you. The plus factor is that you got accepted for the job & it was only one factor which was a problem so there is great hope there.

Like I said, I don't really bite em that bad, I was just being honest. When they start getting long I bite the tops off, I never bite em down to the quick, or make em bleed. If I'd lied they wouldn't have known any difference. What difference does it make when health and safety laws say you have to wear gloves anyway, that should be changed between raw and cooked meats, each customer ect
