Yes that is really sad. O loved to hear them speak of their experiences Bill Walker, Geoff Welham. There was no bravado they were just lovely people who did us proud & protected me & the rest of Britain. I have always been grateful. Just British & the best.

I think he was the oldest survivor, not the last BoB pilot. He was age 25 when he signed up for the RAF Reserve in 1938.

I heard somewhere that he was shot down by Molders at one time.

Thought that strange as Geoff Welham was around recently.

Click on edit post at the bottom of your post, then choose Go advanced. scroll down a little as you dont want to be changing any thing in the boxes with the so called radio buttons, so fingers off those. scroll down and you will come to the editor window and there you can edit everything including the title.
