    Great stuff Richard.

That harbour scene looks vary familiar, can you recall if it had a title. I think I sat and ate an ice cream there.

Woot, my bar armoured Scimitar is in there - sadly it came nowhere in the competition and it was only while carrying it back to the IPMS Farnborough stand, carrying it at an angle I don't usually see I realised that the barrel is not straight! When I put it back together after the accident, the barrel didn't go straight, but you can only really see it from one angle That would be plenty enough to knock it right out of contention.

I suffered the same problem, ended up scratch building the Prometheus (on here if you search) it's still a WIP due to all the fine detailing on the hull. shall have to update the thread at some time methinks.

You mean this one Sir...: - http://www.scale-models.co.uk/space-final-frontier/13833-colins-attempt.html

That is stunning, I've not seen anything from the SG series that hasn't been scratch built, it's a real shame too, although I think that the scratch one's a so much better looking than anything that would be mass produced...

I`d like to get a model of the Stargate itself around 1/35th scale and take it from there.

Here is a few more, I did upload more than this...about 90 but frustratingly I think they have been deleted before I could even post as I see any not utilised within the hour will be deleted! John if this is the case and you can access the deleted files would be grateful if you could retrieve as been uploading since 7.00 Thanks.

i always thought that you could only enter a model in one competition, maybe i have that wrong because the pink anime painted airplane was at cosford and i also saw it in photos from another competition earlier in the year, still looks lovely as well....thanks for the photos

I don't think entering a model in one of the local shows would bar you from entering in the National Competition! All my entries had been in comps in previous smaller shows. I don't think you can enter the same thing in subsequent Nationals.
