    Got a big problem well it looks that way!

    Ive just painted my current model with tamiya paint which has set for nearly 2 weeks now, i decided to do the candy coat today and well bad results mass bleebing etc,

    Ive a got a tesco just up the road from me just need to know which product to buy to strip the model back down to plastic

    I would use Isopropanol alcohol. It usually works getting acrylic paint off, I use loads of it as part of my airbrush cleaning regime and to clean models before painting. Not sure if Tesco has it but you can get it on-line via Amazon.

      I would give Fairy power spray a go, I've found it strips pretty much any paint finish you can throw at it .... I always have a bottle handy

          I heard a lot about Fairy Power spray, hardly any in Peterborough for some reason but I did get a bottle from Ipswich when I was there for a couple of weeks last month. I have also used oven cleaner,spray t on and seal in a bag as per instructions for cooker parts. It is as much the fumes that do the work as the foam so it is important to seal it well with as little air space as possible. I would thing the same technique would work with FPS. With either though, please read the safety instructions before use, these are powerful products.
