How to contact the administrators of this forum

I want to ask (complain about) those intrusive random averts that appear and distort posts by pushing them aside. How can I contact them please?

Also, my avatar does not appear. It is within the size limits and I have chosen the file in Settings.

Steve with out the adverts you would have to pay up to be on this forum.

Not a clue as to how much the machines cost to run this forum but it cannot be cheap. Neither I am sure would it be paid for out of the profits of John's shop. John answered me within minutes on time late in the evening recently to regain my lost password some service

Also this forum is the best by far that I have ever been on. I would say it is a priveledge it attracts the best as far as I am concerned in this society. Some forums are like a war ground in verbal terms. I am very satisfied.

            Laurie

Also forgot John & Ians time in running this forum.

You shouldn't see any adverts if your logged in, as for your avatar it should work as it's showing in your profile, and as Laurie said the adverts pay for the server the site runs on.

I couldn't agree with you more, I've tried a few other forums and gave up on them as they where just like play grounds with all the bickering...

I fully accept that, and this is a very useful site. Thanks for that. But on my machine they push all the text to the left, only a few characters per line, which makes them difficult to read.

On the question of not seeing the adverts if I am logged in, I am logged in now and there are no adverts. I have found recently that during a browsing session, I frequently became logged out. So that could be the reason for the adverts appearing. That might have been a glitch.

On my avatar, its non-appearance is a mystery. I have logged on using two other browsers. Same result.

I have just re-uploaded my avatar, and it works. Another glitch, microprocessors are riddled with them.

There is nothing better than a quick twiddle! Thanks.

As for getting logged out during a session... it may be that you have a length of time without activity so the forum logs you out as a matter of course (a vBulletin preset)

If, when you log in, you check the box that says remember me then you will stay logged in and no averts will appear to distract you .
