    Revell paint list query!

Hi I'm new to this model making. Don't want to waste the long winter nights watching Cory or Strictly or any other trash dished up to us.

Bought my self a Revell Audi something or another. Now find I have to purchase a whole pile of paint but hey ho, still beats the above.

I do have a query re the paint list. The instructions seem very clear as to which part has to be painted with which colour signified by a small flag with a letter and a paint mix ratio, but there are 2 flags with a letter and not a ratio indicating a mix but just 1&2 next to the colours.

It's probably obvious to you regular guys but me, well, just cant see it! Can someone out there help? Please.

I just love Strictly come dancing Bippers. Lots of fun. Top class music. Great dancing by the professionals & some mean dancing by those left in the competition. Also the BBC production & coverage is just incredible the lighting audio visuals is just the best there is & all live.

Not sure what you mean about the flags with out a photo.

But suspect that your model represents two optional colour scheme. If you look at the finished illustrations of each livery they are probably denoted 1 & 2 or the letter. Choose your livery ie type & use the flag no.

PS welcome hope you like it here it is Strictly the place to be.

That sounds right to me too. Different options are usually labeled numerically or alphabetically depending on the manufacturer.

Welcome to the forum and good luck with your model. There are several members who build bikes, cars etc who will be able to give you some friendly (and hopefully useful) advice should you need it.

      Cheers

Your right Steve, about 2 options, I have searched the plans back to front and inside out to confirm this option. Both the colours are aluminium metalic and clear red or clear blue. I have decided to co for aluminium metalic and leave the clear red/blue out. It will only be a purest who will ever know and you!

Thanks for your advice. Better get on and order paint now.
