Good job by the young 'uns Ole. They did a better job than well known girl group "The Saturdays". They bloody murdered it,I know because I had to listen to it night after night!

      Cheers

We have a tree which has rooted in the front garden & is 5 years old now. Being a skin flint I hope it goes another 10 years. Slight problem we will not in a year or be able to open the kitchen window & only just view pine needles from the kitchen.

I am being badgered to put lights on it by you know who but I am scared stiff.

I am going either to get frost bite, be blown to kingdom come or soaked with bitterly cold near freezing rain. She in doors has said I could use an umberella, put on two lots of long johns (already wearing one lot & that is in doors) or wear pyjamas under two lots of heavy jackets. She thinks this is funny !

That pop up one in B & Q appears inviting !!!

Well it won't be for a month or so.The Mayan calendar says the world will end on 21st December! That's next Saturday. With this in mind I've asked my wife if I can have my presents (kits) early but she's not having it! What a waste of kits! I hope when we are all dead on 22nd we will still be able to make kits! Will the cloud I'll be sitting on be able to support a harp and a compressor?!!!!

I can't possible be destined for hell because the heat would melt the plastic in the kits!

Now I've cheered you all up, I wish you all Christmas joys!

The mayan prophecy states (by direct translation) that it will be the end of a world "age" ... not the end of the world.

It's meant to be a cycle change that will shift our humanitarian "ego" from negative to positive (i.e. greed and destruction to harmony and compassion), we'll just change from our 5,125 year "world age cycle", and enter into a "new world cycle" ..... basically paradigm shift.

What i'm trying to say (somewhat geekily) is you just have to wait till Xmas day for your pressies Aidan

Hmmm. I'll try to be more compassionate to my mother in law then! (and that would make me a saint!!!!)

Thanks for the information Colin - always good to learn new stuff.

The prospect of the world/age/off-side rule changing has compelled me not only to put up the tree (actually that was SWMBO) but also to take a picture of it for your delectation.

                              Bit dark innit

I think the car headlights approaching my drive that you can see in the mirror behind the tree are a nice artisitic touch!
